Kim Sanghee, Bonghwa County Council Member, Appointed Co-Representative of the National Women Local Council Members Network
Kim Sanghee, a member of the Bonghwa County Council, announced on the 27th that she has been appointed as the 8th co-representative of the National Network of Female Local Council Members (co-representatives: Nonsan City Council Member Min Byungchun, Gangseo District Council Member Jeong Jeonghee).
Founded in 2008, the National Network of Female Local Council Members is an organization led by female local council members that transcends regions and political parties, pioneering grassroots politics, clean politics, and equality in politics. Currently, about 1,160 local council members are active as members.
Kim Sanghee, who has previously served as the chairperson of the first half of the 9th Bonghwa County Council and as the Gyeongbuk representative of the 7th National Network of Female Local Council Members, expressed her aspirations, saying, "I will do my utmost to promote communication and unity among female local council members nationwide, and to ensure that female council members can take the lead in realizing local autonomy and advancing a more mature democracy from their leading positions in local councils."
