Chungnam Office of Education Signs 2nd Happy Education District Agreement with 14 Cities and Counties
To Operate Until 2027 with the Goal of 'Learning and Growth for All'
The Chungnam Office of Education has completed all business agreements with the 14 cities and counties for the second phase of the Happy Education Districts.
On the 23rd, Superintendent Kim Jicheol signed a business agreement with Taean County at the Taean County Office for the re-designation of Taean as a second-phase Happy Education District.
From 2017 to 2021, the provincial Office of Education designated 15 cities and counties as first-phase Happy Education Districts and supported the revitalization of village education and the creation of educational ecosystems. With the successful operation of the first phase, the second phase of Happy Education Districts, aiming for "Learning and Growth for All," will be promoted from 2022 to 2027.
With Taean County as the last, all agreements with the 14 cities and counties have been completed, and the plan is to operate specialized projects for each region to establish a healthy educational ecosystem.
Superintendent Kim said, "Through the second phase of the Happy Education Districts, we will further strengthen educational cooperation with local governments and build a village education community that combines learning and care."
