'Severe Parking Shortage' in Incheon Namdong Industrial Complex... Namdong-gu to Create 3 Parking Lots by Year-End
Namdong-gu, Incheon announced on the 21st that it will add three off-street parking lots to alleviate the severe parking shortage within the Namdong National Industrial Complex.
The district plans to create a total of 139 parking spaces by the end of this year, investing 1.5 billion KRW to establish 49 spaces at Yeomgol Neighborhood Park, 47 spaces at Yusujineighborhood Park, and 43 spaces at Bokji Neighborhood Park.
To this end, the district pursued a 'Namdong National Industrial Complex Development Implementation Plan Amendment' to convert underutilized sports facility sites into parking lots, which was approved by Incheon City in January.
Along with the construction of parking lots, the district also plans to renovate aging park facilities to provide a comfortable rest area for industrial complex workers.
