The Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced on the 20th that they are conducting a detention investigation of a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, who is suspected of filming using a camera under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act. Mr. A is reported to have illegally filmed the bodies of women enjoying the water at Jamwon Hangang Park swimming pool located in Seocho-gu on the afternoon of the 13th.
At the time, Mr. A was wearing red shorts and a card necklace resembling a name tag, acting as if he were a lifeguard at the swimming pool. Employees of the swimming pool who witnessed Mr. A’s criminal act apprehended him and handed him over to the police.
