Jungjingong, Partner Recruitment for Supporting SME Overseas Expansion
New Recruitment for the '2025 Overseas Private Network' in Collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC) announced on the 21st that it is recruiting overseas private networks to participate in the "Overseas Branch Project" in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The Overseas Branch Project is a program that supports export and overseas market entry by designating local private specialized institutions to act as branches on behalf of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that lack the capacity to establish branches overseas.
SBC selects capable local private consulting and marketing companies as "Overseas Private Networks," the operators of the Overseas Branch Project, and provides customized services such as export and marketing necessary for SMEs to enter overseas markets.
As of last year, a total of 7,113 SMEs were supported, achieving cumulative export performance of 11.9 billion USD and establishing 393 local corporations.
The recruitment fields for overseas private networks this time include nine areas: ▲export support such as buyer discovery and local marketing ▲entry into overseas distribution networks ▲targeted entry by product for sales and market development services ▲technology export such as technology transfer and cooperation ▲incubating services ▲accelerating services ▲procurement entry including public procurement-related agency services ▲local investment support such as investment feasibility review and partner discovery ▲data science-based export support consulting.
In particular, this year, reflecting the overseas expansion demand and export performance of SMEs, the selection of overseas private networks located in countries such as the United States, Russia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong, as well as those capable of providing services such as technology export and data science consulting and supporting major industries, will be expanded.

Kim Il-ho, Director of Global Growth at SBC, said, "As external uncertainties continue due to the resurgence of geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East and concerns over economic slowdown in major countries, it is very important to establish business strategies tailored to overseas markets by collaborating with private partners who are well-versed in local market information." He added, "We will actively support the globalization of our SMEs by discovering excellent overseas private networks centered on customer demand and export performance."
