Gyeonggi-do Activates 'Infectious Disease Response TF' to Prepare for COVID-19 Resurgence
Gyeonggi Province is forming an 'Infectious Disease Response TF' to establish a proactive response system for managing the increase in patients due to the resurgence of COVID-19, including patient occurrence and treatment supply management.
The COVID-19 Infectious Disease Response TF is composed of 16 members from 7 teams across 4 departments within the Health and Wellness Bureau, led by Yoo Young-cheol, Director of the Health and Wellness Bureau.
The Infectious Disease Response TF will handle ▲ trends in patient occurrence and current hospitalized patient status ▲ management of treatment supply (inventory) ▲ operation of fever clinics at six hospitals of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center and securing emergency treatment beds (Icheon Hospital, Anseong Hospital) ▲ monitoring patient occurrence and promoting compliance with prevention guidelines at vulnerable facilities (nursing hospitals, nursing homes, etc.).
Depending on the spread situation, the TF plans to operate flexibly by expanding its scale.
