Osungrok Nowon-gu Mayor Inspects Pedestrian Green Space Renovation Site Between Nowon Middle School and Danghyeon Elementary School
On the 20th at 1 PM, Oh Seung-rok, the mayor of Nowon-gu, inspected the site to reorganize the pedestrian greenway between Nowon Middle School and Danghyeon Elementary School in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
The pedestrian path scheduled for reorganization is located between Danghyeon Elementary School and Nowon Middle School and is frequently used by children as a school route.
Recently, the existing green area has deteriorated, raising the need for safety and environmental improvements, leading to the decision to reorganize the roadside greenery.
The construction will take place from January to November 2025. The district plans to create a safe and pleasant daily walking garden, including pedestrian path maintenance, bench installation, and tree planting.
During the site inspection, Mayor Oh Seung-rok carefully examined the main pedestrian paths, green zones, and planned bench installation sites, reviewing the construction plans.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, "I hope residents can enjoy a pleasant environment through the maintenance of frequently used daily pedestrian paths," adding, "Since it is also often used as a school route for children, we will pay special attention to creating a safe environment."
