This year, more than 6,300 residents and out-of-town tourists visited the water playground, receiving a great response from both parents and children.
Baek Seungyeol, Head of the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Division, said, "The children's water playground, which has been operated for three years since 2022, has established itself as a representative summer destination," and added, "We will strive to return next year in an even better form."
Separately from the closure of the Nampo Port Water Playground, the night fountain will continue to operate every day from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. until October.
