The movie "Ordinary Family," starring actor Seol Kyung-gu, is set to be released in October, Hybe Media Corp announced on the 20th.
"Ordinary Family" is a suspense film depicting the unraveling of four individuals, each living by their own beliefs, after they watch CCTV footage of a crime involving children. It is an adaptation of the novel "The Dinner" by Dutch author Herman Koch, which sold over one million copies in 2009.
Seol Kyung-gu plays Jae-wan, a character who tries to maintain his rationality. He is a cold and logical person who prioritizes material desires. Kim Hee-ae portrays Yeon-kyung, who strives to protect her family. Jang Dong-gun plays Jae-gyu, who holds onto his beliefs, and Su-hyun plays Ji-soo, who observes the truth.
