Pyeongtaek Industrial Promotion Agency Provides 'Local Economic Indicators' to Businesses and Citizens
Electricity Consumption, Export and Import Amounts, Number of Employed Persons, etc.
On the 19th, Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced that, together with the Pyeongtaek Industrial Promotion Agency, it will start compiling local industrial economic trend data from this month to provide to companies and citizens for crisis response and communication in the industrial sector.
The main statistics provided include changes and trends over time in key economic indicators of the Pyeongtaek area such as electricity consumption, import volume, export volume, employment numbers, and the number of registered factories. Through this, the city plans to proactively respond to crises in the industrial and economic sectors.
This data provision aims to supplement the difficulty in real-time grasping regional economic indicators beyond the comprehensive national indicators previously available in the industrial field. To this end, the Promotion Agency will regularly monitor key indicators and provide the compiled data quarterly through various media including the website.
