Man in His 60s Falls While Collecting Sea Snails on Rock at Oeyeondo, Boryeong
Boryeong Coast Guard Rescues During Patrol
A man in his 60s was found collapsed while collecting snails on the rocky shore near Oeyeondo, Boryeong, Chungnam.
According to the Boryeong Coast Guard on the 19th, a patrol officer discovered Mr. A collapsed at around 11:55 a.m. At the time of discovery, Mr. A's right shoulder was dislocated and he was losing consciousness.
Mr. A was transported to a nearby hospital by fire department helicopter and received treatment. His life is not in danger, according to reports.
Mr. A was a tourist and is believed to have fallen while collecting snails and other shellfish on the rocky shore.
A Boryeong Coast Guard official said, "The rocky shore is slippery, so if you climb it carelessly, it can lead to serious accidents. Please exercise extra caution."
