Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Hanul Headquarters Successfully Holds 1st Hanul ESG Culture and Dance Festival
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters successfully concluded the ‘1st Hanul ESG Culture Festival’ held at Hanul Energy Farm on the 17th.
The event consisted of the finals of the 1st Hanul ESG Dance Festival, Hanul Station, and a used clothing donation campaign, attracting approximately 1,000 visitors to the venue that day.
At the ESG experience booth ‘Hanul Station,’ visitors were able to learn about the importance of eco-friendliness through various activities related to sustainability and upcycling, such as vegan food and making sea glass magnets.
Visitors also participated in reducing single-use products by receiving empty containers at the refill station and using them to get food from food trucks.
At 3 p.m., the dance festival ‘Show Me Your Energy’ took place. A total of 13 teams presented original choreography under the theme of ‘Smart Energy for Future Generations.’ The judges were Kim Kwangsoo (from 1MILLION), Choi Jungho (adjunct professor at Seoul Institute of the Arts), and Song Jihyun (leader of Team H). Team H, who participated as special judges, also gave a performance.
The grand prize (Head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters Award) was awarded to Team Mpliolite. In addition, a total of six teams received awards: Gold Prize (Uljin Office of Education Superintendent Award: TAG), Silver Prize (Hanuldaum Award: Eurobeat, Romeo, Nu Origin), Bronze Prize (Future Energy Award: QVO), and Popularity Prize (Hanul Win-Win Award: High Energy).
Lee Seyong, the head of the headquarters, said, “We will continue to provide opportunities for young people to showcase their talents and passion, and do our best to establish this festival as Uljin’s representative youth event by sharing ESG values and offering a variety of programs connected to the local economy.”
