Ukrainian Air Force Commander Releases Aerial Footage
Ukraine reportedly carried out an additional attack on a bridge in the Kursk region of mainland Russia, AFP reported on the 18th (local time).
Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, stated on Telegram that "one more bridge has been removed," and released aerial footage showing the bridge broken in the middle.
He also claimed, "We continue to weaken the enemy's (Russian forces') logistics capabilities through precision airstrikes."

View original imageThe attack appears to have targeted a bridge crossing the Seym River near the village of Zhvannoye in Kursk Oblast, about 15 km north of the Ukrainian border.
The exact timing of the attack has not been confirmed. However, AFP reported that Russian military bloggers shared photos of a damaged bridge that seem to be from the previous day.

Ukraine also announced on the 16th that it destroyed a bridge near the village of Glushkovo in Kursk Oblast. Both bridges span the Seym River.
