Han Junho, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea who joined as a newly appointed Supreme Council member in the 'Lee Jae-myung 2nd leadership team,' is a former MBC announcer.
Born in 1974 in Jeonju, Jeonbuk, Supreme Council member Han once participated in a strike as an executive member of the MBC branch of the National Union of Mediaworkers under the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, opposing the public broadcasting policies of the Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye administrations.
He served as the spokesperson for former lawmaker Woo Sang-ho's Seoul mayoral primary campaign in 2018, worked as an administrator in the Blue House's Office of Public Communication, and was elected as the Democratic Party candidate for Goyang-eul in the 21st and 22nd general elections.
In the 20th presidential election, he was the chief of staff for then-candidate Lee Jae-myung, and is classified as a pro-Lee (pro-Lee Jae-myung) faction member. After winning re-election in the 22nd general election, he served as the head of the Democratic Party's Media Reform Task Force (TF) and was the principal sponsor of the 'Broadcasting 3 Acts,' which concern the appointment of public broadcasting board members.
