BTS Jungkook's 'Solo Activity' to Be Seen as a Movie in 120 Countries
'Jungkook: I Am Still' to Open on the 18th of Next Month
A documentary film chronicling the solo activities of BTS member Jungkook will be released.
On the 15th, agency Big Hit Music announced that Jungkook's documentary film JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL will premiere on the 18th of next month in CGV theaters in Korea and in about 120 countries/regions worldwide.
JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL is a documentary covering the production process and activities from Jungkook's first solo single Seven, released in July last year, to his solo album GOLDEN, released in November.
The film also covers behind-the-scenes stories such as the guerrilla performance held at TSX Entertainment in Times Square, Manhattan, New York, and fan showcases where Jungkook interacted with fans from 224 countries worldwide both online and offline. The recording process of the solo album’s title track Standing Next to You is revealed for the first time in this film.
Jungkook enlisted in the military in December last year and is currently serving as an active-duty soldier in the army. He has been nominated in the ‘Best Collaboration’ and ‘Best K-pop’ categories at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which will be held at the UBS Arena in New York on the 10th of next month.
