Full Support for Startup Growth Companies... Gyeongbuk TP Launches 'Startup Specialist Institution R&D' as the First Step of Didimdol Initiative

View original imageThe Startup Growth Technology Development Project Didimdol, implemented by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and operated by the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs, is a program that provides R&D funding to startups with growth potential in terms of technology and business feasibility.
This information session, hosted by Gyeongbuk Technopark, which was selected as the operating institution, was also broadcast online to resolve the geographical participation difficulties of companies located outside the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area, attracting over 280 participants.
The target applicants for this project are startups established within the last seven years with annual sales of less than 2 billion KRW, and companies participating in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ R&D for the first time.
Gyeongbuk Technopark plans to recommend approximately 123 companies nationwide for selection, out of a total of 510 companies to be supported.
Selected companies will receive up to 120 million KRW in R&D funding, as well as additional programs unique to Gyeongbuk Technopark, such as R&D planning consulting for the following year, investment capability enhancement training, and on-site consulting services.
Applications can be submitted via SMTECH, the integrated management system for SME technology development projects, from the 16th to 6 p.m. on the 30th. The online and offline live broadcast of the information session can also be viewed on the Gyeongbuk Technopark YouTube channel.
Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, said, “Through this information session, we will support more companies to participate in the Startup Growth Technology Development Project and strive to discover outstanding companies as a regional hub institution, contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.”
