Charges Including Involuntary Manslaughter Due to Negligence in the Workplace
The police have booked a bus driver who fatally struck an elderly passenger in their 80s while they were getting off the bus.
On the 14th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced that they are investigating Mr. A on charges including violation of the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling and professional negligence causing death.
Mr. B was seriously injured after being caught under the rear wheel of the bus at a bus stop in Dangsan-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, at around 10:46 a.m. on the 12th. He was transported to the hospital but ultimately passed away.
