Stellantis Reveals Battery Manufacturer... Samsung SDI Batteries in Two PHEV Models
Stellantis Korea has disclosed the battery manufacturer information for six models under its brands including Jeep, Peugeot, and DS Automobiles. The details cover not only upcoming electric vehicles but also plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models.
On the 14th, Stellantis Korea revealed the battery manufacturer information for six models through each brand's official website. Four models are equipped with batteries from the Chinese brand CATL, while the remaining two use batteries from the domestic company Samsung SDI.
Peugeot electric vehicles ▲e-208 ▲e-2008 SUV, and DS Automobiles' ▲DS 3 E-Tense are equipped with Chinese CATL batteries. Additionally, Jeep's first pure electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) ▲Avenger, scheduled for release next month, will also use batteries from CATL.
Jeep's PHEV models ▲Wrangler 4xe ▲Grand Cherokee 4xe are equipped with Samsung SDI batteries.

We will also conduct vehicle safety inspections for electric vehicle customers to quickly dispel any vague anxieties about electric vehicles."
