The Dongdaemun Cultural Foundation (CEO Kim Kyung-wook) has prepared a special opportunity to learn Indian mathematics in English.
This course, conducted by a native professor from the Indian Studies Institute at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, offers a chance to learn basic operations such as addition, multiplication, and division through India’s unique calculation method called ‘Veda Mathematics’ in English.
The course will be held twice for elementary school students on September 22 (1st session) and 29 (2nd session).
The lectures will take place at Yongdu Children's English Library. Starting from 10 a.m. on August 26, 12 students each from lower and upper elementary grades will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Yongdu Children's English Library website.
Kim Kyung-wook, CEO of the Dongdaemun Cultural Foundation, said, “This will be a great opportunity for children to develop interest in English and mathematics and to acquire new mathematical thinking.”
