[Weather] Weekend Highs Reach 35°C with Continued Heat... Showers in Various Parts Nationwide
On Sunday the 11th, the heatwave is expected to continue with maximum temperatures around 35 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country.
Showers are forecasted in the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungnam, and inland Jeonbuk from morning to afternoon.
Expected rainfall from the showers is 5 to 40 mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungbuk, inland Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Jeju Island. In areas experiencing showers, gusty winds along with thunder and lightning are expected, so special caution is required for maritime safety accidents.
Morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea.
