JCS: "North Korea Launches Trash Balloons Again... Possible Movement to Northern Gyeonggi"
North Korea has again launched balloons suspected to be carrying trash.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced on the 10th that North Korea is once again releasing balloons, stating, "Depending on changes in wind direction, the balloons may move to the northern Gyeonggi region."
The Joint Chiefs also urged, "Please be cautious of falling payloads, and if you find any fallen balloons, do not touch them and report to the nearest military unit or police."
The most recent balloon launch from North Korea toward the South was on the 24th of last month. At that time, the balloons sent by North Korea even landed within the grounds of the Presidential Office in Yongsan, Seoul.
