Wemade Faces 16.2 Billion KRW Damage Lawsuit from Current and Former Employees
Wemade has become embroiled in a lawsuit demanding damages worth over 100 million won filed by current and former executives and employees.
Wemade announced on the 9th that 28 current and former executives and employees filed a lawsuit at the Seoul Central District Court on the 29th of last month, claiming damages amounting to 16,176,480,000 won.
According to Wemade, the plaintiffs are former employees who worked at its subsidiary Wemade Tree, and they are demanding compensation, claiming that Wemade Tree promised to pay them the cryptocurrency WEMIX but failed to fulfill this promise.
Regarding this matter, Wemade stated, "We plan to respond through legal procedures via our legal representatives."
