On the 9th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that Son & Football Limited, Son Heung-min's agency, filed a complaint on the same day against five individuals, including an MD from a club in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, for defamation and obstruction of business.
They posted on Instagram that Son Heung-min visited a club after the match between Tottenham (England) and Bayern Munich (Germany) held on the 3rd at the Seoul World Cup Stadium and paid 30 million won for drinks.
The next day, the agency refuted the claims, stating, "Son Heung-min went straight home after the match to rest," and confirmed that the MDs of the club spread false information to promote their business.
