Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Inspects Old Stairs in Yeomni-dong and Urges Thorough Maintenance Work
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the site on the morning of the 9th to inspect the aging stairs located in Yeomni-dong.
The old stairs in Yeomni-dong are situated at 31 Sungmun 16-ga-gil and 7 Daeheung-ro 24-ra-gil. Both locations have not been maintained for a long time, have considerable height, and pose a high risk of safety accidents, making improvements necessary.
Accordingly, Mapo District plans to eliminate inconveniences for stair pedestrians and improve the urban landscape through maintenance work.
On this day, Mayor Park Gang-su requested thorough maintenance for damaged and irregular step heights. He also urged careful measures to ensure pedestrian safety.
