Public Officials Pension Service "Introducing Separate Screening for Youth Preparing for Independence to Create Socially Equitable Jobs"
The Government Employees Pension Service announced on the 9th that it will newly hire 10 experiential youth interns in the second half of this year targeting self-reliant youth and persons with disabilities to discover socially equitable talents.
This recruitment process includes ▲3 self-reliant youth ▲7 persons with disabilities, and applications will be accepted from today. Applications can be submitted by mail, visit, or email until 6 PM on the 23rd.
Previously, the Service conducted two rounds of occasional recruitment in the first half of the year, operating experiential internships for persons with disabilities, including 8 people with severe disabilities. In this youth intern recruitment, the Service introduced a separate screening process for self-reliant youth for the first time and allocated 30% of the planned hires to them.
After hiring, support will be provided to complete specialized training courses of their choice. Additionally, various programs necessary for stable social adaptation, such as mentoring activities involving retired public officials and junior employees of the Service, will be operated to practically assist the self-reliant youth in becoming independent.
The experiential interns to be hired will gain diverse job experience at the Service for about six months starting next month. If selected as outstanding interns based on work performance evaluations, they will be eligible not only for contract extension but also for exemption from document screening during future regular employee recruitment at the Service.
