"Min Heejin Crossed the Line with Lies"... ADORE Demands Public Apology from Sexual Harassment Victim
"Adore's KakaoTalk Messages Are Edited," Claim
Endured Various Workplace Harassment and Unfair Treatment
Min Hee-jin, CEO of ADOR, has denied allegations that she tried to cover up an internal sexual harassment incident, while 'Female Employee B,' who claims to be the victim, has reiterated her complaints. She also stated that Min's explanation was distorted and edited, and expressed a desire for a sincere apology.
On the afternoon of the 8th, B posted a lengthy message on social media (SNS). She introduced herself as "the B female employee mentioned in the explanation posted by CEO Min Hee-jin on her Instagram on July 31, the same B whom Min called a 'mental patient' and used various abusive language against." She then referred to Min’s comment to Executive A, saying, "Even if that is talked about, she becomes a psycho and ruins her own situation. Does B have that much courage?" and responded, "That's right. I am just an ordinary office worker and a person without courage."
B expressed, "It is truly unimaginable for me, a mere employee, to confront a star producer with decades of experience in the entertainment industry and a company CEO skilled in media relations. Even now, as I write this, I am very scared." However, she added, "I could not tolerate Min Hee-jin, who unilaterally protected only Executive A, the perpetrator, and verbally abused and insulted the lower-level staff to the point of devastation, then justified her own grievances by revealing a former employee’s KakaoTalk messages without any notice or consent, and repeatedly told numerous lies such as claiming she remained neutral as CEO, that the target of her insults was not me, and that the KakaoTalk messages were edited."
First, B summarized her experiences at ADOR. She claimed that while working directly under Executive A, she suffered not only sexual harassment but also various forms of workplace bullying and unfair treatment. She stated that she expressed her intention to resign on March 2, reported the sexual harassment and workplace bullying to the company on March 6, received the investigation results on March 16, and resigned on March 21.
B said she heard sexist remarks from Executive A, such as "Having a young woman around is better for the atmosphere than two men eating together," and that she was scolded over trivial matters like the order and speed of KakaoTalk replies, receiving incomprehensible reprimands and criticisms. She particularly emphasized the oppressive atmosphere, saying, "It was not the work itself that was difficult, but the emotional treatment with raised voices over every issue that was hard."
HYBE closes B’s sexual harassment case as 'no charges'
HYBE conducted an investigation and closed the sexual harassment case as 'no charges.' However, B said that HYBE recommended issuing a 'strict warning' to CEO Min Hee-jin due to Executive A’s inappropriate behavior. B stated, "I thought HYBE’s action was too light, but since I was leaving the company anyway, I didn’t want to make a fuss and just endured it. But I heard that CEO Min Hee-jin even refused to issue a strict warning to Executive A."
After conducting a related investigation, HYBE concluded that there was "no suspicion" regarding the sexual harassment case. However, Mr. B conveyed that since Executive A's behavior was inappropriate, it was recommended to CEO Min Hee-jin to issue a "strict warning."

She added, "What I recently learned is that from the day I reported the case until after the investigation ended, CEO Min Hee-jin actively insisted on Executive A’s innocence and repeatedly insulted me with all kinds of abusive language and verbal abuse, crossing the line." She lamented, "As a CEO, instead of verifying facts and addressing issues, she framed me as 'someone who whines and causes trouble while being bad at work and left before getting fired' to invalidate my report, which is heartbreaking as a loyal employee."

B also claimed that the KakaoTalk messages Min disclosed to explain the allegations were edited. She said, "My private KakaoTalk messages were pieced together and released, with the overall context edited." She raised her voice, saying, "CEO Min Hee-jin has engaged in the same editing, distortion, and unauthorized disclosure of KakaoTalk messages that she has criticized so far, and she is lying to the public by claiming that the target of the abusive language in the Dispatch article was someone else, not me, and by manipulating the reasons and context of my resignation." Furthermore, B said, "When I protested to HYBE’s HR team, CEO Min Hee-jin tried to frame it as if I made a retaliatory report because I was bad at my job and gathered all kinds of evidence to support this. I want to ask whether this is an impartial attitude and appropriate mediation as a company CEO."
