K-Beauty Brand Acceleration Platform
Birdview, the operator of the beauty platform Hwahae, announced on the 9th that it has appointed Kim Kyung-il as the new CEO. Considering the situation of the K-beauty market, Hwahae has transitioned to a co-CEO system to accelerate management execution and pursue global expansion. The new CEO Kim will be in charge of overall management and global business expansion, while the existing CEO Lee Woong will oversee investor relations (IR), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), board operations, and external cooperation.
CEO Kim joined Birdview in 2015 and successfully led Hwahae's performance growth since 2016. Over the past eight years, serving as Head of Advertising Business, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), and Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (COO), Hwahae has recorded continuous growth without any revenue decline.
