Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union (EU), announced on the 5th (local time) that the Eurozone's July Services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) recorded 51.9, in line with expectations.
The PMI remained above the baseline of 50, indicating continued economic expansion, but the figure declined compared to the previous month (52.8).
