Uiryeong County in Gyeongnam Province announced on the 5th that, in order to smoothly carry out the 2024 cadastral resurvey project, it operated on-site consultation offices by project district from July 22 to August 1 to directly collect opinions from landowners and interested parties.

To correct the registration details in the cadastral records that do not match the actual status of the land and to convert paper-based cadastral maps into digital cadastral maps, the county conducted a review of survey results and boundary consultations for 579 parcels in three districts, including Deokgyo 1 District, at the respective village halls.
The Cadastral Resurvey Team of the Civil Affairs Service Division at Uiryeong County Office and the Cadastral Resurvey Promotion Team of the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation participated together, checking maps that overlaid newly surveyed data on the latest drone images, and explained boundary and area changes to landowners to facilitate boundary consultations.
For the 2024 cadastral resurvey project, once boundary consultations are completed, the county will notify landowners of the draft cadastral confirmation report and, through administrative procedures such as opinion submission, boundary determination, objection filing, and adjustment payment calculation, plans to complete the project by 2025.
A county official stated, "Through the operation of on-site consultation offices, we will actively promote boundary consultations through on-site communication administration, enhance land use value, resolve disputes between neighbors over land boundaries, and do our best to protect the property rights of county residents."
