Asan City announced that Won Yuseon, head of the Asan branch of the Korean Dance Association, has been appointed as the artistic director for the International Ethnic Dance Festival, and Kim Jongsun, head of the Asan branch of the Korean Entertainers Association, has been appointed as the artistic director for the Foreigners & Housewives Singing Contest.

On the 2nd, Asan City announced that Yoon Yuseon, head of the Asan branch of the Korea Dance Association, has been appointed as the artistic director for the International Folk Dance Festival, and Kim Jongseon, head of the Asan branch of the Korea Entertainment Artists Association, has been appointed as the artistic director for the Foreigner & Housewives Song Contest.
Both directors are local artists who have been active in their respective fields, and the city expects that these appointments will strengthen the self-sustainability of local culture and arts, providing an opportunity for the community and artists to grow and develop together.
Mayor Park Kyunggui said, "I hope both directors will fully demonstrate their capabilities as representative artists of Asan City," adding, "I believe they will successfully conclude these events."
Meanwhile, the Art Valley Asan 2nd International Folk Dance Festival will be held from the 21st to the 22nd of next month, and the Art Valley Asan Foreigner K-Trot & National Housewives Song Contest will take place from October 26th to 27th, both at the Sinjeongho Outdoor Music Hall.
