Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Encourages Participants of Seoul Catholic Youth Theater Festival
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, attended the closing ceremony of the '2024 Seoul Catholic Youth Theater Festival' held on the afternoon of the 4th at JU Dari Small Theater, a youth cultural space in Mapo-gu, to encourage the youth participants of the theater performances.
At the closing ceremony, about 100 youths from 8 theater performance teams attended and enjoyed watching highlight videos of the festival entries held from August 2nd to 4th together.
On this day, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, awarded one team with the Grand Prize and one individual with the Best Acting Award, giving enthusiastic applause for the passion and efforts of the youth.

Mayor Park Gang-su said, “It was a joyful time where everyone could laugh and enjoy together on an original stage filled with passionate energy. I am grateful to the Seoul Catholic Youth Association and the Bishop who generously support and nurture the dreams of our youth,” and added, “Mapo-gu will also do its best to prepare youth policies so that young people can become the authors of their own lives and design wonderful futures,” receiving cheers.
