Gwangju Bank Launches 'IjoWa Event' for Easy Children's Account Opening
Gwangju Bank announced on the 2nd that it will hold the ‘IjoWa Event,’ offering various prizes for opening minor accounts through non-face-to-face channels.
This event rewards customers who open a minor account (under 19 years old) via ‘Open IWa Account’ on the Gwangju WaBank (APP) with a 5,000 KRW CU convenience store gift card. Additionally, if customers open a minor account and check card through ‘IWa Account & Check Card Issuance’ and use the check card for more than 10,000 KRW, they will receive a 5,000 KRW CU convenience store gift card along with a 5,000 KRW cashback.
The ‘Open IWa Account’ and ‘IWa Account & Check Card Issuance’ services utilize scraping technology to automatically submit the necessary supporting documents for the process, allowing legal guardians to open deposit and withdrawal accounts and issue check cards for their minor children without visiting a branch.
