Hansujeong, 'The Mysterious Flight of Bat Orchid' Companion Plant Special Exhibition
The Korea National Arboretum and Garden Management Agency (hereinafter referred to as KNA) announced on the 2nd that it will hold a special exhibition on companion plants titled "The Mysterious Flight of the Bat Orchid" from the 3rd of this month to November 30th at the Central Hall of the Four Seasons Exhibition Greenhouse in the National Sejong Arboretum.
The special exhibition was planned in collaboration with the "Bat Orchid Korea" club under the subtitle "Bat Orchids of the World." The exhibition features 18 species of bat orchids, including Platycerium ellisii Baker, all displayed in one space.
In particular, the exhibition space utilizes over 70 species of companion plants grown directly by members of the bat orchid club, providing visitors with ideas for indoor space decoration.
On the first day of the exhibition (the 3rd), bat orchid enthusiasts will participate in a flea market, and visitors will have the opportunity to experience attaching bat orchids directly to old wood in a wood mounting workshop.

Shin Chang-ho, director of the National Sejong Arboretum, said, "This special exhibition is meaningful because it was planned jointly with companion plant enthusiasts," adding, "We hope visitors will have the opportunity to learn new information about companion plants and the importance of biodiversity, experiences they have never had before through this exhibition."
