Gimhae City Supports Unemployed Youth with 'Kkamnyang Accumulation'... Qualification Exam Fees Provided for 300 Participants
Gimhae City in Gyeongnam is supporting unemployed young people in building their "Kkamnyang" (skills and capabilities).
The city announced on the 1st that it will implement the "2024 Gimhae City Second Half Youth Certification Exam Fee Support Project" to encourage job-seeking activities and self-development among young people.
The support is available to unemployed youth aged 19 to 39 who reside in Gimhae City from the date of the exam to the date of application.
For national technical certifications, language, and Korean history exams taken since January 1 of this year, up to 100,000 KRW per person will be provided annually for up to two times, including the first half of the year.
The city supported exam fees for 387 young people in the first half of the year and plans to support about 300 more in the second half.
