On the 30th, Hyosung Advanced Materials announced that it had created an endangered pollinator ecological learning garden at the Ulsan Climate Crisis Response Education Center in collaboration with the National Institute of Ecology.
The pollinator ecological learning garden is designed with pollinator plants to save honeybees, which are facing extinction due to recent rapid climate change and indiscriminate pesticide use. Pollinator plants provide nectar and pollen, which are food sources for honeybees.
Through this project, it is expected that increasing the food sources for honeybees by creating gardens using endangered species plants will help maintain ecological balance and conserve endangered species. Additionally, the established garden will be used to learn sustainable gardening techniques for perennial agriculture, and programs will be developed along with training ecological education instructors to utilize it for outdoor experiential learning.
In October 2023, Hyosung Advanced Materials created a pollinator plant garden using endangered species plants at the Mulbeodeul Ecological Experience Learning Center in Seocheon-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. This year, an additional pollinator ecological garden is planned to be established at the Seocheon Mulbeodeul Ecological Learning Center. They also plan to develop learning programs using the pollinator ecological garden and provide ecotourism services.

A representative of Hyosung Advanced Materials said, "We will ensure that the creation of the pollinator ecological learning garden does not end as a one-time ecological restoration activity but tracks and manages the adaptation and survival of the restored plants to become a model case for sustainable rural agriculture and fisheries projects."
