The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Changsoo) will conduct a survey until the 18th of next month to gather a wide range of opinions from citizens ahead of the 2025 main budget formulation.
The survey is open to all Ulsan citizens, including students, parents, and school staff. Those wishing to participate can do so via the Office of Education's website under 'Citizen Participation Budget·Survey' or by using the provided QR code.
The survey consists of 15 items across 13 fields. It includes questions such as which areas should be prioritized in budget allocation, priority investment targets by field and project, and other free-form opinions on new projects.
An official from the Ulsan Office of Education stated, "We will actively reflect the survey results to operate a transparent Ulsan education budget together with citizens," and added, "We ask for your interest and participation, as anyone can take part."
In addition to the survey period, the Office of Education is also operating a 'Citizen Participation Budget Proposal Room' on its website and a one-on-one chat channel via social network service (KakaoTalk), allowing citizens to submit their opinions at any time.
