Three Years of Consecutive Visits to Saudi Government Ministries
Naver Explores Collaboration Opportunities with Ministry of Commerce
Naver announced on the 30th that Majid Al Qasabi, Minister of the Ministry of Commerce overseeing commerce, trade, and investment in Saudi Arabia, and his delegation visited Naver 1784.

Including this visit, four key officials, including ministers from major Saudi Arabian government departments, have directly visited Naver 1784 over the past three years. The first visit was by Majed Al Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, who recognized Naver as a partner for Saudi Arabia's national digital transformation in November 2022. In October last year, Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, visited 1784. In May this year, Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, President of the Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, also visited.
On the 29th, the Ministry of Commerce of Saudi Arabia was represented by Minister Majid Al Qasabi, who is also Chairman of the National Competitiveness Center, Deputy Minister Ayman Al Mutaari, who is also CEO of the National Competitiveness Center, and Sami Al Sadhan, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Korea, who directly visited Naver. From Naver, Chae Sun-joo, Head of External/ESG Policy, Kim Yoo-won, CEO of Naver Cloud, and Seok Sang-ok, CEO of Naver Labs, attended.
Minister Majid Al Qasabi and his delegation experienced how cutting-edge technologies such as digital twin, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and cloud, which are attracting global attention, are integrated at 1784. They were also introduced to Naver’s diverse business competitiveness in search, commerce, and content. Subsequently, they explored various collaboration opportunities to promote the activation of Saudi Arabia’s digital economy.
