On the 28th, Yonhap News reported that the Goyang Police Station received a report from a resident around 1 p.m. that a man's body was floating in the water near the Haengjunaru ferry dock in Deogyang-gu, Goyang City.
Police and fire authorities who arrived at the scene recovered the body and confirmed the identity. The identification revealed that the man was Mr. A, a man in his 60s who lived alone in Seoul. At the time of discovery, a 5kg dumbbell was tied to his arm with a shoelace.
