View original imageAccording to Samsung Electronics on the 26th, Chairman Lee recently visited the condolence altar set up at the Embassy of Vietnam in Seoul's Jongno-gu to pay his respects, and then met with the Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea to express his condolences to the Vietnamese people. In the condolence book, Chairman Lee wrote, "I pray for the repose of the General Secretary’s soul together with the Vietnamese people. I will always remember his strong conviction and leadership and work harder for the development of Vietnam and Korea."

Earlier, in October 2014, Chairman Lee welcomed the late General Secretary during his visit to Samsung Electronics’ Seocho building, explaining Samsung Electronics’ business status in Vietnam and discussing ways to strengthen cooperation. Meanwhile, Chairman Lee is currently visiting Paris, France, having departed to attend the upcoming '2024 Paris Olympics.'
