This second workshop began with a case presentation by the Gimhae Cultural Tourism Foundation on user-centered regional innovation problem-solving. Building on the problem identification and definition techniques learned in the first workshop, participants learned methods to concretize solutions.
The learning process is ongoing not only on the day of the workshop but also on days without scheduled activities. Teams of core members and the organizing institution continue to interact online to carry out missions, assignments, feedback, and consulting.
On September 5, a result-sharing session will be held by inviting stakeholders from interested organizations and the participants of "Creating a Barrier-Free Yangsan." Teams from each field (people with disabilities, seniors, youth, children and adolescents, and safe city) will present and share the outcomes of their learning.
Kim Okrang, Director of the Department of Culture and Welfare, expressed her anticipation, saying, "The very fact that citizens have the opportunity to contemplate and create policies for neighbors facing difficulties creates a new trend in our region and opens the way for it to become a major movement."
