Assemblyman Joincheol's Special Meeting with Gwangju Youths: Hosting a 'Political Talk Show'
Jo In-cheol, a member of the National Assembly (Democratic Party of Korea · Gwangju Seo-gu Gap), attracted attention by holding a special meeting with local youth.
On the 24th, Assemblyman Jo held a 'Political Talk Show' with students from the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Youth Political Camp.
This event was organized to cultivate political awareness and civic consciousness among youth.
The talk covered various topics between Assemblyman Jo and the students, including ▲the roles and functions of the National Assembly ▲legislative activities in the National Assembly ▲visions that politicians should have.
There was also a session where Kim Su-jin, secretary to the assemblyman, presented on the role of the staff.
Secretary Kim detailed various tasks such as ▲legislative support ▲policy research ▲preparation for legislative activities, emphasizing that staff members also play an important role in the National Assembly.
The students showed interest and participated seriously in political discussions they had only encountered through the media, and they collectively expressed that it was an opportunity to newly realize how politics affects personal life and career choices.
After the talk show, the students had a chance to tour Assemblyman Jo In-cheol’s office in person.
