Gyeonggawon, August 'G-Star Audition Finals' Orientation
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency held an orientation on the 25th for startups selected through the ‘2024 G-Star Audition’.
The G-Star Audition is a global startup investment presentation (IR) pitching competition that discovers and provides growth opportunities for prospective entrepreneurs and startups less than seven years old with innovative ideas and startup items in various fields, including advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and biotechnology.
Debuting this year, the competition attracted significant interest from startups by offering opportunities for global expansion and investment attraction despite the economic downturn and contraction of the investment market.
During the orientation held that day, an overview of the ‘G-Star Audition’ and the upcoming project schedule were provided. Additionally, an English IR pitching strategy lecture was conducted for the participants.
The league finals will be held from the 6th to the 9th of next month, and the 30 teams that pass will compete in the final round at the ‘2024 Gyeonggi Startup Summit,’ Asia’s first international artificial intelligence (AI) startup event, held in Gwanggyo and Pangyo in September.
