Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, "Promoting Best Practices in Proactive Administration for New and Innovative Governance"
Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) is accepting recommendations for exemplary cases of proactive administration until the end of this month to establish a creative and innovative culture of proactive administration in Mapo-gu governance.
Proactive administration refers to administrative cases that have achieved significant results in terms of resident convenience, including ▲regulatory and customary innovation ▲economic revitalization ▲proactive and creative responses.
The district will receive recommendations for proactive administration cases from Mapo residents and all departments, conduct first and second internal reviews, and review by the Proactive Administration Committee to select five exemplary cases by August.
Incentives such as reward leave will be given to the public officials who lead the final selected exemplary cases.
The evaluation criteria are ▲resident impact (40%) ▲staff proactiveness, creativity, and expertise (30%) ▲task importance and difficulty (20%) ▲potential for dissemination (10%).
Especially this year, a staff-wide voting system will be introduced during the second review process to reflect the opinions of frontline administrative staff, enhancing fairness and transparency in the selection process.
Residents who wish to recommend exemplary cases of proactive administration in Mapo-gu can participate through the online recommendation portal ‘Jeokgeukhengjeong On’ of the Ministry of Personnel Management or the ‘Resident Recommendation for Proactive Administration Officials’ bulletin board on the Mapo-gu website by July 30.
Meanwhile, last year, a total of seven exemplary cases of proactive administration were selected. These included ▲establishment of long-term rental housing operation standards ▲construction of Mapo-gu integrated civil complaint system ▲expansion of Cultural Nuri Card usage at the Mapo-naru Salted Shrimp Festival ▲creation of the Red Road emotional theme street ▲production of the Mapo User Manual ▲installation of zero-incineration stores ▲Mapo Reminder Call, selected across various fields, serving as catalysts driving proactive administration in Mapo-gu.
