Gyeongnam Province, Final Preparations for National Sports Festival and Para Games Proceeding Smoothly Without a Hitch
Gyeongsangnam-do held the 4th preparation status meeting for the 105th National Sports Festival and the 44th National Para Games on the 24th, 79 days before the events.
About 30 people attended the meeting held at the provincial government conference room, including officials from Gyeongsangnam-do, the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education, the Gyeongsangnam-do Police Agency, and representatives from the main host city, Gimhae.
The 105th National Sports Festival and the 44th National Disabled Sports Festival 4th Preparation Status Meeting were held at the Gyeongnam Provincial Government Office Conference Room.

The participants shared overall and institution-specific preparations.
They discussed the overall preparations for the events, including: ▲Main stadium construction ▲Event operation ▲Traffic and parking measures ▲Inspection of accommodation and food service establishments ▲Safety management measures ▲Renovation and maintenance of sports facilities and surrounding environments.

Governor Park Wansu urged, "Move up the schedule and complete preparations so that the National Sports Festival and National Para Games, which are just two months away, can be held without any setbacks," and added, "For ongoing preparations, visit each site in person and conduct rehearsals to identify and address any issues in advance."
The 105th National Sports Festival and the 44th National Para Games will be held under the theme "Korea Running Again with Gyeongnam," with Gimhae as the main host city.
The National Sports Festival will take place for seven days from October 11 to 17, and the National Para Games will be held for six days from October 25 to 30, at more than 80 venues across 18 cities and counties in the province.
