Pukyong National University Partners with 16 Busan District Career Education Support Centers
Strengthening Career Education Support System, Revitalizing Startup Ecosystem
The National Pukyong University Southeast Startup Education Innovation Leading University Project Group (SCOUT Project Group, led by Ryu Jiyeol) and the LINC3.0 Project Group (led by Ryu Jiyeol) have signed a business agreement with 16 career education support centers in districts and counties of Busan to strengthen the career education support system and vitalize the startup ecosystem.
On the 24th, the National Pukyong University SCOUT Project Group and LINC3.0 Project Group held a meeting in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the university headquarters, where they agreed to cooperate with these centers to contribute to youth career education through sharing and collaborating on human and physical infrastructure for career education and startup experiential education.
Through this agreement, the SCOUT Project Group and the 16 career education support centers will actively cooperate in the following areas: △sharing and collaborating on institutional capabilities and infrastructure for the advancement of career education and the startup ecosystem; △mutual cooperation in the development and operation of career education programs to enhance youth capabilities; △active exchange of professional personnel and sharing of physical infrastructure in the operation and support of career education programs.
The LINC3.0 Project Group also signed a business agreement with the 16 career education support centers on the same day with the same content, planning to support career and startup education.
Since July last year, National Pukyong University has been selected for the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation's Startup Education Innovation Leading University (SCOUT) project, operating various programs to support practical startup education for innovative talent through strengthened collaboration with local governments and regional startup entities. In addition, since 2022, the university has been selected for the third phase of the Industry-University-Research Cooperation Leading University Development Project (LINC3.0) in the technology innovation leading type, and is currently carrying out its third-year project.

The 16 centers are as follows: Haeundaegu Career Education Support Center (Director Heo Youngsook), Sahagu Career Education Support Center (Director Kang Namin), Sasanggu Career Education Support Center (Director Kim Soyoung), Gijanggun Career Education Support Center (Director Hwang Donguk), Yeongdogu Career Education Support Center (Director Kim Sanguk), Bukgu Career Education Support Center (Director Kim Gyucheol), Dongnaegu Career Education Support Center (Director Son Jungwoo), Donggu Career Education Support Center (Director Kim Hyesook), Geumjeonggu Career Education Support Center (Director Choi Subin), Namgu Career Education Support Center (Director Ahn Gihyang), Gangseogu Career Education Support Center (Director Choi Kwangjun), Busanjingu Career Education Support Center (Director Jung Youngmin), Suyeonggu Career Education Support Center (Director Kim Kyungjin), Yeonje-gu Career Education Support Center (Director Lee Eunjun), Junggu Career Education Support Center (Director Kang Wooyoung), and Seogu Career Education Support Center (Director Woo Heeseop).
