The 'Warm Housing Welfare Points Pilot Project' awards points to residents when they visit small libraries or participate in programs, and the accumulated points each month can be used to reduce management fees, among other uses.
This pilot project was initiated by LH to revitalize communities and to prevent solitary deaths and improve the quality of life for elderly and single-person households in rental housing.
LH plans to operate the pilot project for three months (August to October) at three small libraries in Jangseong, Naju, and Gwangju Nam-gu, and after gathering feedback, will consider expanding the project next year.
Kim Han-jong, the governor of Jangseong County, expressed gratitude to LH and Saemaeul Geumgo, saying, "We are thankful to implement the Warm Housing Welfare Points project for local residents for the first time in Jangseong."
Jung Su-mi, head of LH Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, said, "We will continue to strive to discover new projects for a healthy and happy local community."
