Korea & Company Introduces In-House AI from Messenger to Translation

Korea & Company is introducing proprietary generative artificial intelligence (AI)-based services such as messenger and translation.
On the 23rd, Korea & Company announced that it has implemented three types of in-house AI digital services for all employees.
First, the conversational AI service 'ChatHK' was developed in-house based on Amazon Web Services' Bedrock platform. It operates an employee-only website to provide high security and allows users to freely choose generative language models such as Chat GPT and Claude depending on the purpose. It also features a ChatNest function that utilizes pre-prepared commands (prompts) according to the objective.
'CompHK' is an AI translation specialized service developed internally for communication within the group. When content is input in the form of text, voice, or files, it can translate into a total of 29 languages including Korean, English, Chinese, Hungarian, and Indonesian. In particular, for specialized terms related to tires and mobility, it automatically detects and translates terms using data recorded in the existing in-house terminology dictionary. It also provides translation results tailored to the situation through detailed settings such as target, purpose, and tone.
Korea & Company has also added AI translation functionality to its in-house employee-only messenger service. When a user sets their language and activates the translation function in the internal messenger, messages input by the other party in a different language are automatically translated into the preset language.
