Seongbuk-gu Provides 350,000 Won Support for Lifelong Education Vouchers for People with Disabilities
Apply on Bojogeum24 website by the 14th of next month
Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) is implementing the "Lifelong Education Voucher for Persons with Disabilities" support project to enhance accessibility to lifelong education for persons with disabilities, thereby expanding opportunities for participation in lifelong education and promoting active social engagement.
The support targets 200 registered persons with disabilities aged 19 or older in Seongbuk-gu, providing a voucher worth 350,000 KRW per person annually. The lifelong education voucher allows recipients to freely attend self-development and hobby courses operated by lifelong education institutions registered on the Lifelong Education Voucher website, both online and offline, regardless of location.
Applications can be submitted online (mobile app available) by searching for "Seongbuk-gu Lifelong Learning Voucher for Persons with Disabilities" on the Bojogeum24 website until August 14. For those who have difficulty applying online due to severe disabilities, applications can be submitted in person at the Seongbuk-gu Lifelong Learning Center or the local community service center with the required documents.
The district prioritizes recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security and the lower-income bracket as primary beneficiaries, with remaining spots selected by lottery. However, those who have already received the lifelong education voucher this year or national scholarships are excluded to prevent duplicate benefits.
Results will be individually notified, and selected applicants can receive the "Lifelong Education Hope Card (NH Nonghyup)" at the nearest Nonghyup branch and use the voucher until November 30.
