Official Launch of Foreign Worker Supply Support Project
The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam signed a tripartite agreement on the 22nd in the Seongwoo Conference Room with the Jinbuk Industrial Complex Resident Companies Association and Ocean HR to support the supply of foreign workers to Changwon-based companies.
The signing ceremony was attended by Choi Jaeho, President of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lee Sanggil, President of the Jinbuk Industrial Complex Resident Companies Association, and Kim Myungseon, CEO of Ocean HR, among other officials.
Through this agreement, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry will promote tasks related to identifying the demand for foreign workers and recruitment, and support administrative work for discovering other key tasks in the future. The Jinbuk Industrial Complex Resident Companies Association will handle the hiring of foreign workers and provide stable living conditions and a sound working environment. Ocean HR will be responsible for the dispatch and reception of foreign workers and support administrative tasks related to the supply of foreign workers.
Choi Jaeho, President of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, "This agreement holds significant meaning for local companies experiencing production disruptions due to labor shortages," and added, "The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry will monitor this project to ensure its successful continuation. We will continue to promote projects aimed at preventing regional decline and revitalizing the local economy."
Meanwhile, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to expand support for the supply of foreign workers, starting with companies in the Jinbuk Industrial Complex and extending to aircraft parts manufacturers and nursing hospitals.
