Motorcycle Rider Dies After Rear-Ending Truck at Traffic Signal in Gimhae

At around 6:20 p.m. on the 21st, a motorcycle collided with a truck that was waiting at a traffic signal near Buram Sageori in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, resulting in the death of the motorcycle rider.
According to the Gimhae Jungbu Police Station on the 22nd, the motorcycle, driven by a man in his 20s, rear-ended a truck driven by Mr. B, a man in his 60s, which was stopped in the fifth lane of a seven-lane road while waiting for the signal.
The deceased, Mr. A, was found not to have been under the influence of alcohol or driving without a license at the time of the accident.
The police believe the accident was caused by the rider's failure to pay attention to the road ahead and are investigating the exact circumstances based on witness statements and other evidence.
